[Ash is a lamia--a born vampire. As a Redfern, he can trace his line back to the first of the NightWorld vampires, Maya. He has ash blond hair and eyes that constantly shift colours. Sometimes they change because of his mood, other times they change for no obvious reason at all. He once hated most if not all humans, but after finding out his soulmate is a human girl, he's had to change his stance. Presently, he's left her to try and redeem himself for past crimes.]
